You miss the forest for the trees. The only way to the divine is through the human, whether or not God is real—at least for humans. Second, if God exists, then God is not a datum of the universe, by definition. Finally, petitio principii—"begging the question"—is asking a question that has the answer in it. Classically, "have you stopped beating your wife?" I think you should avoid doing that in your articles.
