I think it is acceptable to be skeptical about Dahmer's conversion. However, if it was genuine then we have to accept that he is accepted.

Remember in the film Return of the Jedi when the spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi appears along with Darth Vader, now Anakin Skywalker again? Seems in the Star Wars universe there is grace for mass murderers... why not in ours?
