I agree, there is no ghost in the machine. However, I am open to considering that, concerning consciousness, the brain is a receptive organ.

As for "mystery", it pertains to what humans cannot understand, though we can perceive the outline so to speak of what we do not understand, and if we're lucky, why we cannot understand.

To say it's all just random is not enough.
