Fortunately not all Christians are fundamentalists. Historically they are a small minority. And yes, they miss the real value of the Bible by reading it as straightforward truth.

However, most of us non-fundies also hold to some batshit crazy stuff, like Jesus the Son of God who died on a cross and rose again. Problem is, it's the truth... 😏
