As usual, a clear and faithful rendition of the text, Jeremy. Women in leadership of the early church have been overlooked for reasons that have nothing to do with their worth. Indeed, there seems to have been some attempts to "cancel" them even in the first centuries.

One woman I haven't seen commentary about is Chloe, I Cor. 1:11: "I have heard from Chloe's people" (ἐδηλώθη γάρ μοι περὶ ὑμῶν, ἀδελφοί μου, ὑπὸ τῶν Χλόης ὅτι ἔριδες ἐν ὑμῖν εἰσιν.) Sounds like she is the leader of a house church in Corinth. What do you think?
