An interesting take... the Ezekiel passage is about a Philistine king, not Satan.
There is a lot to say about the influence of the idea of Satan on people, including the development of the Church of Satan. As you say, some Christians (certainly not all) see him/her/it under every bush. Some Muslims as well.
But if he/she/it is the father (parent?) of lies, and a lie is by definition false, then Satan is false too. The thing about a lie is that the liar believes a truth that the lie seeks to conceal.
